Selection Process

After the application submission deadline, Community Foundation staff meet with scholarship committees to review and select individual scholarship recipients through a competitive and nondiscriminatory process.

  • Our scholarship committees consist of select Foundation staff and community volunteers.
  • The committees consider applicants for all scholarships for which they are eligible.
  • The Foundation notifies all applicants of their award status in June.
  • Scholarship awards are paid to colleges by August 1.
