It will: Connect people and programs to share knowledge and information -- NETWORKING! Provide mentor training and recruitment opportunities -- TAP INTO BEST PRACTICES & RESOURCES! Raise public awareness of the importance of mentoring programs as a proven method to improve the well-being and success of our young people -- RAISE ALL BOATS! The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut and the Governor’s Prevention Partnership have teamed up with a small group of planning partners to see how we can build the capacity of programs and organizations toward the aspirational goal of ensuring that “All youth– starting with the most vulnerable– who need a mentor will have one.” Together, we stand more of a chance of making this happen than if we go it alone. So, whether you have a mentoring program or you work with youth who would benefit from a mentor, we need your participation and input. Come learn what it’s all about! Hope to see you on June 28th!
