Director of Finance and Operations
Janet Grant is the Director of Finance and Operations at the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut. Janet comes to us most recently from Mitchell College where she was the Controller. She brings to the position over twenty years of extensive knowledge and experience as a CFO and Controller with growth-oriented nonprofit organizations. She has a Master of Science in Management with emphasis in Finance, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
For over a decade, Janet has been a licensed foster parent working with the Department of Children and Families to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in their care. Janet is a native of Southeastern Connecticut and resides in Mystic.
