Thank you for choosing the Community Foundation to conduct part of your charitable giving. You have joined some of Eastern Connecticut’s most generous individuals, families and businesses.

You have many options for recommending grants. You have many options for recommending grants, and the technical details are outlined here. The Community Foundation is happy to follow your recommendations as long as they fall within IRS and the other clear guidelines we’ve identified.

You can also ask for advice, ideas, or simple research. The Community Foundation has more than a quarter-century’s experience under our belt and a robust understanding of the nonprofit sector. Your donor advised fund gives you automatic access to our expertise.

You are also invited to review the Community Foundation’s own initiatives and discretionary grants. Virtually everything the Community Foundation does, after all, begins with a donor’s contribution.
